Birmingham, please

I spent all day at work reviewing a claim off a contractor for 196 days I have caused to delay the contract. After reviewing the claim and researching the chain of events they caused 200 days delay to the contract and me 20days delay. Obviously I wasn't happy as they cheekily tried to blame me. I have now applied liquidated damages on them for the delay to the contract.

I went to uni in Birmingham and have worked in Birmingham a total of 17 years of my life. Over the years I have saw Birmingham change dramatically from a concrete block jungle to a beautiful cultured city that I'm proud of. It's hard for me to say that comming from the black country. The biggest change was the bull ring and now it's Birmingham new street station which will look amazing. What I am disapointed about is the new library (pic) which looks like a poor mans birds nest stadium that hosted the Olympics last year. I can't believe that 1) someone designed it. 2) someone funded it and 3) it got planning consent. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but that is awful.

Right I'm off to bed as I've got to get up at 2.30am and set of to Liverpool airport at 3am as I fly to Tallinn for a long weekend tomorrow with my best mate.
