Today's the day ..................................... for Monet's garden

On my last but one significant birthday, a good friend gave me a lovely present.

It was a collection of seeds to grow - and they were all plants that were to be found in Monet's Garden at Giverney. I've never been there but from pictures I have seen of it, I just know that it's my sort of a place. So I planted all the seeds in a sunny border - and they all grew well. In fact they just seed themselves now and appear as if by magic every year.

The only plant growing in the border before the seeds were these irises - but I felt sure that Monet would have had a few of them in his garden as well ..........................
