Tangled up in Blue

You have to wonder how the train network actually functions with such a tangle of electrical lines. Come to think of it, my trip home was delayed by an hour and a half, due to a signal failure which shut down trains between Arnhem and Utrecht.

I like how these German signals look like rocket ships.
