The Great British Pastime.

Train stations here are very  orderly places with people queuing patiently  next to the numbers painted on the platform. The numbers indicate where the doors on the train will open when it arrives. The painted feet indicate the direction you should queue in - such attention to detail!

... and I used to think it was just us Brits who liked to queue!

An Englishman, even if he is alone, forms an orderly queue of one.
