Selma

Went to see Selma today as part of my attempts to see all the best picture nominees. David Oyelowo was brilliant and captivating as Martin Luther King.

I found it power and moving. I was left with many thoughts and questions about injustice, faith and how history might view our current times. Are we on the side of the pastors and rabbis who risked everything to stand alongside King or like those who just seeked to keep the status quo?
