Bassenthwaite from Lothwaite

Ling Fell and Sale Fell contributed two more Wainwrights to our list.  

A certain Blipper (whom I will not name ,  but was not me) left their water/windproof behind but we did the walk anyway as we were going in a circle and would never be that far from the car.  We made it right round the circuit which included Ling Fell,  Burthwaite Heights, Lothwaite, Rivings and Sale Fell.

The views from Lothwaite were stunning despite the rather dull weather. There were some nicely sunlit areas scudding across the valley below us and the sky was dramatic.

This is another photo taken with my cheap 28mm prime lens which never ceases to amaze me with its clarity and sharpness right into the corners.
