Progress!

This may not be the most exciting blip photo ever, but it does portray a lot of hard graft on my part. Put in some hard yakka today, as it was sunny and relatively warm with no frost left in the ground.
This is one half of our recently extended vegetable garden
There are two rows of autumn-planted garlic just showing above the ground, and today I planted 50 white and 50 red onion sets.
The poles are supports for a couple of dozen raspberry canes, plus one cultivar blackberry which is apparently going to spread greatly and have a high yield of fruit. We shall see!
There is a new apple tree for later espalier and just out of vision to the right against the dividing fence.
Behind the photographer is the newly-cleared potato bed, soon scheduled for another digging over, some compost and planting with first early potatoes in March, then main crop shortly after.
