Winter sunshine & an old church

I stayed with friends in Oxfordshire last night, and then this morning the three of us and their dog drove to this spot before going for a walk around a lake. So, as I was their guest I didn't have time to check out this old church to find out something about it. However, I photographed it because it looked so bright in the winter sunshine. It has been a glorious day here, but temperature only about 7degC. Such a contrast from yesterday when the weather was really wet, with spray from the trucks splashing up all over the place as I drove down the motorway throughout the two-hour drive to my hosts' house.
