These doors are closed.  I suppose I need to go back to the books!!!

Been playing with my IT hat on the past two days setting up a new workstation and knocking my head against the wall.  Things that should be so simple become strangely frustrating when you do them once every 5-10 years.  IP, DNS, DHCP, DC, firewalls, routers, internet connections, software installations, downloads, updates, waiting, waiting, waiting.... oh my... the pain is nearly over.  I think I will go home and celebrate with a glass of wine!
