At the end of the day
there's always something to be thankful for. Just some days it's harder to work out what that something is!
A beautiful spring-like day. Wall to wall sunshine and blue sky, flowers bursting forth in the garden, birds singing ...... and we all felt pretty rubbish :-( The girls have their ongoing problems, Jacinta is still recovering from the prolonged, stop-go-stop, achy virus that's doing the rounds and I'm just kn*****d. (Maybe I over-did it with the digging yesterday!) We made it to Cley for a late lunch at the Wildlife Trust visitor centre but I was the only one who felt like a walk so I was out-voted. In truth Ruth had done well just to get out of the house. On the way back we drove past Sheringham station at just the right time, making a short stop to smell the steam .... actually it's the hot oil that smells .... even Ruth got onto the platform to take pictures :-)
Home for pancakes, sweet and savoury, then a game altogether and so to the days end.
