Back in November 2013 (yes, 2013) the local branch of Evans Cycles ordered some parts so they could modify my Brompton. They never arrived, and in March 2014 they completed the modification by cannibalising a new Brompton from their shop stock. They were duly apologetic and did not charge me for their labour: I had already paid for the (ordered) parts.

Two days ago I got an email from Evans Cycles (not the local shop) telling me that part of my order had been despatched. I told them to cancel the order (which was never mine in the first place) and they did. 

Today these cables arrived through my letterbox.
