Book group.

A visit in to Bishop’s Stortford this morning for hair appointments and a bit of shopping. The weather was beautiful and dry, the first time we haven’t got soaked on exiting the hairdressers for months!!

This afternoon it was book group. I’ve read three excellent books this month and I’m now reading Peter May’s Extraordinary People. I’ve added it to this blip for my records, as it won’t appear next month.


The ladies have arranged the next meeting for the day after we return from holiday. They are now aware of the fact that I will be moving and leaving the group.  It will be strange for me as we have been meeting for over 8 years. In that time I have been introduced to many new authors who I can search for in the library and charity shops (a good way of recycling books).
