Kinder

This is the view across Kinder Reservoir to Kinder Downfall in the Peak District. Some of you may have seen pictures of mad people climbing up the frozen downfall recently. Quite often its an Upfall when the wind is blowing the right way.

The path up to this point is very steep made of stones which are very uneven and slippy. So apart from getting puffed out coming up its very dodgy going down hill. Worth it for this view.

Not much birdlife around yet but in a few weeks there will be all sorts here..... Green Woodpecker, Redstart, Spotted Flycatcher ..... you can but dream of Spring,
