The Big Storm That Wasn't
We had a winter storm warning that promised 5 - 8 inches of snow between midnight and 8 AM. When I got up at 3 AM, the snow had all but stopped and there was only about 4 inches of snow on the ground.
I shoveled the driveway and sidewalk, got ready for work, and got on the road by 4:30 AM. The road conditions were quite bad but there was hardly anyone out so the drive was almost relaxing for once. When I got home from work, the sun was shining and temperatures were almost at the freezing mark. I decided to take advantage of the "balmy weather" and go outside for today's blip.
Thank you for the nice comments, stars, and hearts on yesterday's "Christmas Card" and hope you like today's Northern Cardinal.
