Humphries Bay

A stunner of a day on Lake Tarawera, calm and very warm, it doesn't get much better.
And we had an English couple to take out on the lake for the day....as you can imagine they were very impressed.
We swam in the hot waters of Champagne pool and the warm stream at Hot Water Beach and finished the day late in the afternoon with a swim at my favourite bay. The water is pure turquoise and the late afternoon sun was backlighting the trees. 
I may be one eyed, but I think this is paradise!

And meant to say a huge thanks to everyone for their stars and hearts for yesterdays figs...such a thrill.
