The non event

The sunrise this morning was a bit of a non event.  Clouds low to the horizon, a little colour to the south but generally, aside from the crescent moon rise and the cruise ship coming in lit up like a Christmas tree, it was a pretty ordinary affair. A mini pod of dolphins was seen (not the kindergarten group)  


Merewether baths was the place to be seen exercising this morning.  The only exercise I did however was operating the camera.  All these fit young things walking, jumping, swimming, skipping, running, boxing, yoga-ing, etc, puts me to shame.  This is a view looking back along the baths instead of out to sea.  The man in the foreground is wearing budgie smugglers for those who did not pick up the reference the other day.  Why is it that there are so many slang names for this item of clothing.  I mean, I am sure you don’t have that many for women’s swimwear, or maybe you do.
