Fat Tuesday

Yesterday was Fat Tuesday which is the last day before Lent/the fasting season.  Being raised Catholic, this time of the year was the time that we all gave up or sacrificed some thing until Easter. Fat Tuesday is from Catholic Roots. For most people, I am not excluded, Fat Tuesday and Mardi Gras was a time to party. For the past years, friends of ours would meet up with us for Fat Tuesday and we would enjoy eating crawfish and having drinks in celebration.  I planned on Blipping a photo to share of the festivities, but unfortunately this year we did not meet. None the less I blipped some of my Mardi Gras beads a day late.
