Malone House

It was a very dull, overcast walk with the two dogs this morning until, as I was passing the back of Malone House, the sun obliged me by popping its head out of the clouds for a couple of minutes. It really can be quite pleasant here when the sun shines. I think that's twice now.

Malone House is a council run museum/cafe/wedding venue kind of a place. It dates back to the 1820s, but I don't know much about it because it's only five minutes' walk from our house, so we've never visited it. Maybe we'd make the trip, if only it were further away. You can't look like tourists on your own doorstep.
