Out for a walk on the Vale of Pickering. The promised sunshine seemed settled on the distant hills.

As we were walking we had a call with some good news from Matthew, our middle son, who had done well in some recent assignments and also has an interview for a Graduate Training scheme. It certainly put a spring in our step.

On the way back in a farm yard in Harome this Peacock was doing his best to attract the ladies. Having taken a number of rear shots I grabbed this as he turned. The ladies however were unimpressed and beetled off every time he turned round!
