Farmerboab

Paper,paper every where...

Despite the weather forecast talking of rain,we seem to have avoided it today. Took advantage to finish sorting and clipping store heifers for next week. Managed to rake up  35, enough to make up a  lorry load.
Mrs Farmerboab and sprogs confined to barracks as the Jeep away for a service and it's MOT. By lunch time they were driving each other round the bend !
Sorted out the passports for the cattle I clipped . Each beast has a paper passport that records all their movements on and off farm, and makes their entire life traceable. You also have to notify movements to a central data base via computer, which is based at Workington in Cumbria. They can tell you more information about the whereabouts of a beast than
they can tell about a lot of folk that come into Britain !
