Obvious
Went for a wander around Kingston today as I was feeling a bit more human. Took a few snaps down by the river but it was all fairly predictable stuff. On the way back up Eden Street I spotted a plaque marking the residence of an African slave who became a "gentleman and coal merchant" and thought that would make an interesting enough blip. Then I saw this!
Changing your name from Edward Muggeridge to Eadweard Muybridge would be cause enough for a commemorative plaque in my book but a little googling has revealed that this man had a pretty extraordinary life. For the short version you could go to Biography.com or for more depth this fascinating article from 2010 in The Guardian
