Dune House

The Dune House is one of several specially designed holiday rental homes around the UK. It was commissioned, like the others, by an organisation called "Living Architecture". This unique house, with floor to ceiling windows all around the ground floor and irregular shaped rooms on the first floor, is built on the beach just south of Thorpeness, where we have been staying. The accommodation was larger than we needed this week, which is a bit of a shame, because we really enjoyed staying in another of their properties - the Shingle House at Dungeness - a couple of years ago. Perhaps we will team up with some more friends and rent it in the future.
