Friends

This week has been a week of thinking about friends and their visits. I was lighting some candles in the house and this one seemed to be saying lots to me in this week of plans etc. This was one of the little mementoes from my Mum's house when we cleared it and for me it says it all - for all the special friends that I have in my life.

However it was also very true of my Mum who for 55 years was my very special friend. I am proud to have known her and miss her every day - often at 9pm the time of an evening when I used to phone her. We often never really know what we had until it is no longer there. Miss you Mum.
