This week is turning out to be all about ballet.... like that is surprising. We dropped the girls to dance, but Katie didnt want to leave so we stayed and watched a bit of their modern class. Their teacher wanted to go to Primark so we took them into the city before going back to class. Katie and I headed back home for a couple of jobs, some annual Shrove Tuesday skipping and a snuggle. She fell asleep for an hour on my lap! We headed back to dance about 2.45, ready for a mid afternoon pizza party. And some dancing, handstands and performing. It was this afternoon that Katie really settled in with the girls! She had them all gathered round her as she played and danced. I took Katie and our students home ready for pancakes with Grandad and Granny. The girls hadn't heard of the tradition, but fully embraced it! We said goodbye to the parents and headed back to the festival. We were watching some of the girls do their song & dance routines. Katie loved seeing her friends, though she was rather honest about her opinions on some of the others!
