so today is Chinese New Year of the ....... Goat or Sheep apparently my Chinese PhD student tells me there is great debate about which it is as in old China the same word was used to describe both, clearly goat and sheep were much alike back in the day?? Now they have two separate ones but that does not help matters - personally I'd go for goat!
