Caught in the act

At last I saw the whole process!! I planted myself firmly next to this chrysalis this morning and waited until the butterfly emerged! Nearly missed it when I went to get some coffee! Unfortunately I focused on the wrong part of the picture - so the subject is a bit fuzzy, but you get the idea!!
