Cousin Time

I have asked my almost 11 year old nephew, Zander, if he would like to come over one or two afternoons after school and play/help me with Cole. Today was the first day and it was fun for all three of us! Zander hasn't spent time around any babies other than Cole, and his time with Cole has been minimal. Zander is a sweet, caring child who enjoys making Cole smile and laughing at his funny baby faces and noises. He did really well with Cole today, asking me to show him how to pick him up and move him around on the floor. We went for a walk with Zander pushing Cole in the stroller and me walking the dogs. Zander said "this is fun!" while he pushed the jogging stroller, and he's not a child who says things if he doesn't mean them so I knew he was being genuine. I was really happy to have this time with both boys. And I told Zander I would pay him $2 each time he came over, which he thinks is awesome!
