Scottish Thistle Regional Awards

I attended the Regional Thistle Awards today at the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) in Glasgow.

We baked in the heat inside and out. Cream o' Galloway were the stars of the show by scooping 3 awards. Unfortunately we did not sample any of their fabulous ice cream.

CCA Glasgow was formed within a Grade A listed Alexander Thomson building - the Grecian Chambers - following a three-year £10.5m lottery-funded refurbishment by Page & Park Architects. The complex has five performance spaces including a 75 seater cinema. It was established in 1992 at 350 Sauchiehall Street and the current building (re)opened in 2001.
