Barley

Todays pasture and crop production was broken up with a short field trip around the town to see different crops, we saw peas, lucerene, pasja and turnips.
This field of barley was our last stop, the heads are nearly hanging right down which means they are nearly ready to harvest, about March our tutor said.
Thought the golden crop contrasted nicely with the blue skies we had today!
