Good News!

As I stood in the PO queue in the next village, I overheard young(ish) women talking excitedly about hearing they had "got" a house on the development being built nearby the Medical Surgery.  One said she had considered it but decided against applying because for an extra bedroom she would loose an awful lot of garden and she did not want to afford the increase.  Another remarked that she had heard the rent for the 3 bedroomed properties had been reduced from £740 to £600. An eyewatering decrease if true! Maybe there were no takers at the first price.
