My first Ashing Service

My first experience of ashing today. Lovely service at All Saints, Redbridge in a tradition I am totally unfamiliar with. I had to robe and process and bow and make the sign of the cross. It was a really good experience. I loved the quietness before the service and again straight after it. It made me appreciate sacramental worship in a new way. It will be weird going back to Lordshill after a few weeks of this. They are chalk and cheese but it's OK to be different.
