Singing in the rain

Horrible wet day – but met my sister and went to the Blake exhibition in the Ashmolean. We were impressed but agreed we are more interested in his poetry than his art. Mind you the actual engravings in both copper and on slate, that he used to make his prints, were fabulous.
After which we went for lunch and accidentally ended up in a bookshop.

We didn’t tap dance in the rain, nor did we carry umbrellas … we scuttled around Oxford and I was wearing a black fedora, not unlike Gene Kelly’s trilby
