Postcard from Vientiane, Laos

We went to Cope Visitor Centre, a national NGO that get donations from Norway among other countries. Cope provides prosthetics and mobility devices free of charge for people who have lost arms or legs in cluster bombs accidents. They also pay transport and expenses for accommodation. It takes about 14 days to make a prosthetic.  They have hanged the homemade prosthetics that people when they came to the centre. 

We were lucky to have a super shot sight seeing before our flight. This is the reclining Buddha statue outside the temple next to Pha That Luang stupa.
