When in Rome... Speak Russian...

Toasting absent friends.
We found this restaurant by asking a very helpful shop assistant where she would recommend for good, reasonably priced Italian food. She replied, I don't speak English, I only speak Russian... Much to her amazement I launched into almost fluent Russian and had a great conversation which ended with a recommendation to this little restaurant down a small pedestrian alley, which we would never have found otherwise.
