The Sugar Factory Revisited

I posted a blip of this before but I wasn't participating in The Derelict Thursday Challenge at the time.  So, here it is again from a slightly different angle.  I'm not sure what that big thing is that is exposed behind the crumbling wall but it must have been used in the sugar production process. My friend was with me today and she remembers touring the factory as a child when her father worked here, more than 50 years ago.  He was a farmer but always found work in the factory in the winters.  So sad to see it gone to ruin....
