Multi-Coloured Flax, Blandswood
This stunning flax is just outside our front fence towards the end of our section. The bright colours in the variegation are a breath of fresh air amongst the almost continual green blanket of vegetation that covers our little corner of the world,
I shot this after taking the dogs for a post dinner amble to the end of the road. The light was fading, so I set my 60mm lens wide open to f/2.4 to isolate the background but also underexposed quite a bit to get the contrast.
Thanks so much for all the kind words for yesterday's Red Deer at Sunset shot. Nice to see it nudging the popular :-)
