Set up

Got a bit annoyed with the front page of the student newspaper this morning. At a quick glance it seems that my maths lecturer has said his statement against the LGBTQ community, whereas in fact the two halves of the page are not at all linked. Its annoying that the article has been placed under the picture as many people wont actually read it and will just assume. The article is actually about him putting a link to his testimony on his university webpage, someone has complained saying that it shouldn't be on a page endorsed by the university. Its so silly, people don't have to read it, its a link to a different page. And the line quoted is taken out of context; he is urging people to seek God and says that if they think they're too cool for it, then it won't be cool in hell. Ahhhhh!

Rant over. 

Apart from that my day was pretty good, a few meetings, a seminar. Then Club Angels in the evening, narrowly avoided being sicked on twice and spent most of the evening sat with people in the first aid room, really great to get to know some of the St Johns team.
