House in the clouds
The house to go with the church! I was attracting some odd looks as I crouched almost in the middle of the road photographing puddles! Amazing what you can see in them.
Thank you so much for all the entries for the Derelict Thursday challenge. There have been factories, fences and fridges; churches, chapels and churnstands; trains and even a station; pillboxes and paraphanalia; rickshaws, manure spreaders, sheds galore, walls and windows; clocks and crocks; tiles and textures and even some derelict parsley seeds and a vine!
Almost impossible to select my favourite five but here goes, in no particular order:
The Day for Derelict Thursday by Youoregon1 - faded glory, interesting lettering and a bit of mystery
Derelict Thursday by jensphotos, once a wonderfully flamboyant factory with its interesting tiles and history, now adorned with a bit of modern art
Witley Court by JDO, what an amazing pile, a great composition with layer upon layer, and an informative write up
Old Shot Tower by chantler63 - an astonishing image and an example of how something derelict can be restored and recycled
Going, Going by Ceridwen, this week's building I'd like to live in - that little porch, those colours.
Now, what has Himself chosen??
We're off on a little adventure, back blipping will be in order. Catch you soon.
