Derelict Thursday review
I counted 83 entries this week, not including two in the list not taken on Thursday (it is Derelict THURSDAY after all!). I started with ten possible favourites on my list and cutting it down to only five has been harder than ever. Anyway, here are my favourites for this week and thanks to everone who entered ...
Shady Lady by Kath Gordon
This poor woman with her top-knot and hand broken off with weeds growing on her is so evocative of a bygone era.
Derelict Thursday by wall
A proud industrial structure with wonderful light reflected from the snow is a great subject - and amazingly crisp for a shot from a phone too.
What lies beneath by LeggeAngie
I like the strong linear composition in this one, doubled by the reflection.
Witley Court by JDO
The light and colours on the stonework of this once grand edifice are remarkable.
Cottage by Beachcomber
I like this very strong mono and the way the cottage appears to be silently disappearing into the landscape.
Herself is making her own selection as usual so let's see how many we agree on this week!
