Porty and People and Nearby Places

I was in town for meetings today and took this picture on my way home as the sun caught the iconic George Street buildings.

As the days lengthen and the spring marches in I am reminded of the ugliness of George Street,  which seems to have been allowed to disfigure, permanently, the original designs with unsightly outdoor pop up plastic bars and smoking areas.

Traffic in the city centre today seemed very congested with almost everyone on half term holidays and the PM and his entourage around  contributing to the automotive gridlock.
