Guerilla Lighting Leamington

Tonight I joined a town activity at Leamington Old Town. The activity was called Leamington Old Town Guerilla Lighting Project and the organisers called us Guerillas. Eventhough it was pouring outside, the activity still went on. The project involved illuminating various architectural sites in Old Town with an audience following the progress.

My initial idea in "joining" was actually to just be a spectator rather than an active volunteer. However, when i arrived at the meeting venue, I was ambushed and asked if I want to be in Team 1. Of course i said "Sure!"
We literally illuminated sights around the town with torches. First was the United Reformed Church, then to All Saints' Church, then the Polish Centre then lastly the Railway Arches. It was actually fun even though all of us were soaking wet. But of course the real fun with the activity was the free bread, cookies, coffee, hot chocolate and hot soup at the end of the activity.
