Leaving on a jet plane

I'm writing this at 7 am on Saturday as we were pretty tired when we arrived back last night.
This is the only photo that I took yesterday and it is our Thai Airlines plane that we took from Bangkok to Heathrow.
Our first flight yesterday was from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. We said our goodbyes to our family at the hotel as we had two taxis to go to the airport. They were going to the international terminal to go to Hong Kong then on to Taipei and we went to domestic as we were flying to Bangkok first. However, at the airport they then sent us to international so they could book our luggage straight through.
This meant that we met up again for another hour, but then had to say our goodbyes once more, so a second bout of tears.
We got home at 10:30pm after about 21 hours of travel. We purposely try not to sleep on the flight as we find it helps with jet lag. C had about 20 minutes sleep in all, and I had about half an hour. At least we had a reasonably good sleep when we got to bed, and awoke about 6:45 am.
I went to sleep crying and woke up crying as we don't know when we'll meet up with our family again. However, we had a fabulous holiday and although we did loads, it was also very relaxing.
We thought we'd left a loaf in the freezer but can't find it, so are now starving. Looking forward to collecting our boys this morning, we have missed them.
And as Technophobe reminded me yesterday, "Don't be sad, you'll be seeing US soon!". And she's right - we are looking forward to that, plus the fact that our local, The Huff Cap, may have reopened this week after a year of closure.
