Hong Kong Harbour

We've arrived in Hong Kong and have almost 3 days to explore this busy city so immediately did the Harbour Tour. It's in the middle of the period of festivities for the Chinese New Year so it's wonderful to see the explosion of colour everywhere. This evening there is a light show which we will attempt to see.
Tomorrow we do the full tour which will include a visit to the highest point and, if the weather is good, the view should be spectacular.
The pick up from the airport to the hotel took us by hundreds of thousands of containers. This has the world's third largest deep water harbour, Rio and San Fransisco being the deepest.
This place still has signs of the Brits - they drive on LHS, the road signs, the buses and sadly, the litter. That said it is a thrill and an honour to be here!
It's also wonderful to go out without coats and to have temperatures around 23 degrees C, think that's mid 70s f. It's snowing at home!!
