Porty People and Places

I encountered this demonstration near Holyrood as I drove home from my early shift.

As a cyclist I think this proposed 20 mph ban across 80% of Edinburgh's roads is a good thing. 

As a driver, during working hours, it is rarely possible to get above 20 mph due to the volume of traffic.

This demonstration included  a small procession of black cabs following the even smaller group of pedestrian cabbies. They  were accompanied by  almost as many Police.
