This is a rather hastily taken blip; just to let you see I'm still in the land of Blip.
Madge and I viewed the the Sheltered housing complex on Monday, it was everything I could have hoped for. The flat I wanted is great it has to repainted, usually by the in coming tenant but the man who was there before was a smoker.
You could smell it as soon as we walked in, but it is clean and with new carpets the old will be removed before I move in, I just have to sort that out after i have signed the tenancy agreement on Monday 11th June.
I had a phone call this morning to take some documents to the manager who will send the info: to head office.
We looked at three but the ground floor is the biggest; we were first there so the choice was mine it was I think as they say a no brainer!
After all that excitement we went to a local pub for lunch, which didn't open till 12noon.
I didn't have a clue when pubs open neither does Madge we were 15mins early so had to wait outside, that is a first waiting for a pub to open!
Sorry i haven't been able to comment much at all, but to be honest what with one thing and another, I was really down last Friday until i got the call from Russell.
Now I'm trying to get rid of medical equipment that I've had stored in the shed and garage for the last 5 years that the place 'Home loans' had moved and changed their number.
Will hopefully be taking some pics of George Moore Court to-morrow there's a lovely garden and social area for residents to sit and chat and other things upstairs for me to blip after I move in.
Seems surreal that it was only 16 days ago that I put my flat for sale.....
Cheers everyone and thanks for your good wishes.
Penny ps the weather is beautiful here again.
