Good signs...

Geoff got the key for his house yesterday so we trooped over and looked at the inside, Wow! Rooms everywhere, the house was built in 1902, got altered in Gelderns one Air raid in 1945, got a new Roof and was modernised twice, last time in 2011. It has 6 rooms in the cellar, including one with wine racks all down one wall ( No wine bottles though!) The cellar ceilings are arched and low. There is a large modern Kitchen Extension and new bathroom.generally it needs decorating and some bits and Bobs done, but nothing serious, next weeek we start, upstairs with the bedrooms. Oh and it has got house guests, a pair of rabbits have taken up residence in the garden, house has been empty since September last year, but we think that Shorty will soon see them off.
