Yarrow Valley - Heron

Took  a short walk in the country this afternoon but couldn't go too far because of my hip. All being well, I am scheduled to have the operation and  a new hip next Saturday. 

The kingfisher was out and about today and I got a good look at him but there wasn't  enough light for a decent shot.
