This Harris Tweed covered time-piece was a birthday gift. For me, it represents a new twist on the traditional woolly fabric of the Hebrides. The juxtaposition of the traditional tweed coupled to modern design appeals to me, despite the silence of the looms on which it is now woven. I miss the rhythmic clickety-clack of the old 'Hattersley'  looms that were like village heartbeats. A story of time and tweed!
