A day around the estate today, bit of a lazy one...

Found a new path to explore in the morning that led me round to the old walled garden. All locked up but some of the outbuildings, machinery and unused glazing provided me with photo opportunities at least.

Lots of reading as well. Bernard Sumner's book 'Chapter And Verse' is unlikely to win any awards but I reckoned that after reading Hooky's books so far I should give his a go as well. And, as surprising as it may seem, Bernard is at his happiest these days when he's sailing his 47yft yacht around the west coast of Scotland and likes nothing better than to lie on deck at night staring up at the stars. Oh, and he nearly made a film with Michael Powell but it clashed with 'World In Motion'. The mind boggles...
