China Town

The entrance to the Chinese Supermarket makes it look rather grand. In actual fact the main supermarket bit (on a Saturday at least) is about the same size as a corner shop. Still, we found most of the stuff we were looking for, plus a few extras, except for rice paper for rolls (no idea where else might have these).

We followed our trip here with a wander through the west end. Not had proper investigation along this area for a while. Spotted a nice Persian place that we are looking forward to trying soon and also a good butchers that we didn't know about.

Lunch at the Juice Garden, great place that we've been wanting to try for a while now. Not just juices, we had a proper lunch, brilliant salads. The juices are darn good though. Then a wander home, via George Mews Cheesemongers, some tasty treats to take home there!

Fab rest of the afternoon relaxing and doing our usual cook up and making a tasty crispy duck dinner. All to the tunes of Iron Maiden! As I write this we are about to watch the last episode of season 2, House of Cards! This show is nuts, no idea what will happen in this last one!!

Thought this would be short entry but we've had such a good day I had to get it all down for memories sake! :-)
